my 9.5 year old Australian Shepherd, Crockett He's a bi-eyed blue merle. I just love his markings. He hates the camera but I managed to get this one while sitting in the backyard this afternoon.

This is so sharp. His fur looks so soft, I just want to reach out and pet him.

Wonderful detail and DOF!! He sounds likes a wonderful pet and his eyes are way cool!!! These dogs are so intelligent. Since they are sheep herders or cattle herders, they do not like humans to look them in the eyes, because that's how they intimidate animals to go where the dog wants them to go. (I learned this from an owner at our feed store after a similar dog nipped at me for looking her in the eyes!) You were lucky to take a image of him!! :)

What a beautiful pup! And a gorgeous photo, too! You can tell that he's not enthusiastic about this camera thing. I love animals with two-colored eyes. In fact, I wish I had two different colored eyes - just to freak people out. :op

OMG ... that eye is wonderful .. so full of character and so unusual .. it gives him such a 'human' look ....... & crazy !! ... but our dogs are human eh!!! .. lol ... and an australian shepherd .. how excellent is that .. and even tho i'm an australian i'd never heard of the breed .. i just googled 'australian shepherd' to see and came across the most adorable little australian shepherd puppies ... if they were the size of katee fully grown i'd be thinking of getting one for sure ... shepherds as a breed are known for their intelligence & i'm totally into having an intelligent dog ..!! .. katee altho very small in the head and consequently the brain is however extremely intelligent .. it just goes to show that size is not important !!!!!!!! lol lol again .. !! ...
