Lighting is a bit harsh, colour and texture is very good

Very nice but no point of interest.

This certainly meets the challenge for good texture definition. It would be interesting to see another shape or color introduced to help the composition. (Say a tiny slice carved out to show the yellow meat) But it's nice as is. Good lighting.

Nice macro shot, very crisp and sharp. Nice idea for texture.

Almost looks like an alien's skin this close up.

This brings out the color and texture of a pineapple in a way that changes the way I will look at them in the future. Very good shot.

Solid shot - nice maro that gets the rough/smooth texture. To make this image a bit better I'd like more even lighting (the light/dark areas do add interest but the far right is too dark and the rest could be brighter)

when you get as close as this i feel it has to either be an interesting texture or something to break it up - as it is your eye has nowhere to go so no lasting appeal.

i really like how you've filled the frame with your subject.

one aspect that could be improved is the lighting. it seems a bit strong, which in turn has created some glare on the pineapple.

Great focus but perhaps a bit dark. Good idea though.

I can smell it - but I don't know if I can feel it

Not bad. Good texture and interesting colors, Doesn't really hold my interest, though.

This is very nice idea and nicely done. I would have preferred to have good lights on the right side too or just crop it out (1/3 right side) then flip it around and see what looks better. Good Luck!

Very white highlights - give a plastic feel. Perhaps a softer light would reduce that. Some detail missing, just lacking that edge of sharpness. Kind of 'ugly' to do well here, but nice idea.
