 It snowed in Austin for the first time in around 4 years. I just like the crunchy and spikey texture of the snow and branches in this shot.

I really like this, at first glance didn't think that much of it. BUt after looking at it for a while I'm thinking about feeling the snow and the rough, scratchyness (making up words here) of the branches. Nice!

This is a wonderful capture of the texture of the branches and snow. In a way, I wish there was some contrasting shape or color somewhere in the composition to add interest to this nice image. Still, it's good seeing.

Greetings-card pretty, and well composed photograph. Doesn't really communicate a great feeling of tactility to me though - I'm not sure snow is a great subject for texture - that conjunction of appearance and experience, the fact that it looks all fluffy and feel cold and wet ...
