I love, love, love the hammer motion here. Superb tones and texture. I find the pencil a bit too hot, though.

Details on the pencil seem a little over exposed, otherwise a good one.

Nice action on the hammer it leads you to the subject in one fluid motion. Nice creativity and execution with this shot. I'll offer one thing for you to consider, the lighting is a little harsh on the pencil. That being said the overall lighting is well done and suits the shot nicely.

Love the concept and nicely executed with the hammer but it's to bad the pencil is so blown out...

Nice idea & the hammer portion looks great. Wish pencil itself weren't so blown out.

The long exposure makes an interesting picture with the hammer but the light on the pencil brings the pic down..

Good thing this pencil has a silencer on it for late night use in photo shoots. Love the multiplicity of the hammer.

wow, I like how the different stages of the hammer falling are shown and the title is so fitting!

you used 3 flashes for this shot which was good to create a movement for the hamer but your pencil is very "hot" as a result...

The lighting on the pencil is very harsh! Which is a shame as you got a lovely "trail" of the movement of the hammer! Nice try and good luck

the lighting is a litte strong on the pencil iteself, to me, but a good creative idea and a nice change of pace from chopsticks.

nice effort to show 'motion' but the pencil is blown out and seems oversharpened

The highlights on the pencil look a little too burn out but i do like the movement in the hammer.

Driving home my point? I don't get it. The highlight is clipped.

The pencil is really blown out and the bits (is that what those are?) are really too dark. Try making some adjustments to the photo so I can make out the details.
