This looks like something shot decades ago. B&W was a good choice, it seems to fit it well. |

Great impact in this image! The b&w and somewhat unfocused look is reminiscent of a WWII image, but then again we wouldn't be seeing those particular vehicles, now, would we :-) What a great reminder of the different situations that we find ourselves in. Thank you so much for sharing your (often beige!) world with us because these are glimpses into a world that I would otherwise not get to view... More importantly I am eternally grateful for your service and the sacrifices you've made to be there in the first place :-) |

Wow! Is that a texture overlay? Or a tree? It really adds interest and such a cool effect to the photo. What a foreboding place!

sheeeeeeeesh .. talk about a different life .. i'm surprised that you're actually allowed to take photographs in some of these middle eastern places .. of course they wouldnt have known about this one .. i thought at first that one of the vehicles was a tank .. it has that look .. i like the hidden just about secretive feel of this photograph and your processing to b&w just gives impact to that feeling .. :) |
