This is a plastic toy that was screwed to the wall of a building we were in. He's actually head down, and I had to bend down to get my camera far enough below to get him in focus.

I appreciate all the time people put in to capture real animals, but when I saw this, I thought it might be good enough. Anyway, I'm sure there's a real lizard that looks like this!

Let's see whether anyone notices he has nostrils that don't actually open!

Detail is exemplary. Very nice focus and the primary colors are pow. Wonderful stuff.

Congrats Jeffrey, I apparently don't use my eyes that well. You fooled me hook, line, and sinker.

Yeah, yeah... I crawl around in dusty hot bunkers with dead plants that are so fragile they vibrate in the slightest breeze, then spend HOURS trying to duplicate the acid action within basic editing rules, and I get beat scorewise by a plastic lizard?? Very cool. :-)

All I have to say is DNMC!!!! (LOL - just kidding Jeffrey - does a facsimile of fauna count?) It shows well. No wonder you're over 6.

Hmm, is this a toy lizzard? Nice lighting, but I find the focus is too soft.

nice use of shallow DOF, like the texture on its skin

great! I love the blue feet! I might have liked to see one of his colorful eyes a bit more. Nice use of selective focus.
