This was one of my favorites in the challenge. I thought it was very well done and should have placed a lot higher. I think the fact that a lot of people used rings caused your score to suffer. I don't think it should. This picture should of been judged in its own context. Very well shot, great lighting and interesting composition.

Guess it says it all right in this image... Nit -- the reflection of the ring on the background, and some noise on the background. But this is a top ten finisher for sure! Of all the ring submissions, this is clearly the best. I'm giving it a 9

Single light source, simple composition addictive shapes. A basic approach to this challenge. Not bad at all, not sttuning. Photography is clear and well done.

Lighting is excellent. Really help to make this a moody composition. The blackground really helps to make the envelope and the ring pop out of the shot. Great hightlights on the ring.

Nice and simple. Good execution. I do wish the light didn't fall off quite so quickly in the top of the envelope. Best so far in the story teling group.
