The sort of flat light from the flash is perfect for the scene (big truck, American flag shirt, power lines). She's an American Girl! |

Definitely go for the gun rack. The boys it will chase away sound like they wouldn't be boys your daughter would want to know anyway. :) (She seems like every father's dream to me -- you KNOW she's not going to let them be getting away with anything.)
Great "girl and her car" shot -- she looks fabulous and very go-girl-power.
I hope she keeps a print of this. When she's forty it'll be a great memory for her.

My first car was a 1980 Pontiac Sunbird. The thing was an 8 cylinder, and would absolutely FLY (a fact that my father did NOT know when we bought it). It was awesome. I only went through 2 or 3 clutches in it. :)
Hope she enjoys it, and lets you drive it some! |

That's cool that she's not a girlie-girl wanting a pretty little car that costs a fortune. I loved my 1st car, a dodge omni! haha
And by the sounds of the gun rack she's a bit of a tomboy which is very cool. |

I love odd. It sounds like your daughter knows just what she likes. I like how she's leaning into her truck, arms akimbo. |

I like how the reds strips mimic the red strips on the truck. The perspective is great. I love the comments you posted in the thread along with your picture, which sure sounds like a dad's side of things. |

She's odd? Where does she get it from?? When she's older she's going to love this picture. |

No wonder she looks so proud and victorious. She is one lucky, and it sounds like quite accomplished young lady! Woo Hooo, CONGRATULATIONS to her!

does the horn play "dixie?" 'cause if it does, i'm gonna go hang out with her.
my first car was a 1974 chevrolet vega sport coupe (the car that "rusted in the showroom.") it was older than i was and i LOVED it.

Good angle, other than the distracting power lines. She should be looking a bit more enthusiastic at getting her first car (truck). My first car was also a Ford Galaxy 500 (1964 2 door hardtop turquoise, 352 4barrel). It was a great car, and if I hadn't sold it for something like $500 when I bought a new 1971 Ford Maverick it would be worth lots of money now! So now you have a Volvo? My wife had an '82 Volvo Bertone Coupe, also light blue, and I called it the money pit. I was glad when our son finally totalled it. |
