ok .. dont read any further if you want to stay awake !!!
view from the bedroom .. slightly photoshopped !!..
i got up at 5.30am this morning to see greg off for work and make him some toast .. OMG .. i'm soooo nice !!! .. lol .. anyway while he was having a shower and i was lying in bed i thought that i would go down to wollongong and take some photographs for the technology challenge ... i then thought i'd like to put something in our slice of life .. if i go to wollongong and take photographs down there i'd be tempted to put something in our slice of life & they'd probably be too similar to any challenge entry, so i thought i'd just take a photograph out'v the sliding door into our paddock and then i've put a photograph in for today ..
i got out'v bed and decided to take the photograph looking in the mirror with the reflection of our paddock and me in it to make it more interesting ..
i then got carried away, once again, in my processing ..
a touch of lucisart sculpture and then two different photographs with different blending modes .. i used that blue one on my profile pic .. its excellent .. i took it for our minimal edit side challenge .. there was absolutely nothing a crazy photoshop addict could do with it at all to make it better .. the colours and shapes everything was perfect .. and that had nothing to do with me .. just stunning nature .. :)
the twirly look in the mirror is from another photograph i took at our local hardware shop with a different blending mode ...

this is a slightly different photograph processed differently ..

for walter .. thomaspeople
wollongong is a fairly large industrial town south of sydney ...
and a paddock is like a field with pasture in it .. :):)
it really is amazing how we use words that we feel everyone who speaks english will understand .. but living on other sides of the world there are heaps of words that arent common ... i've been caught many times using words that ppl in america or other places go .. 'wottha!!??" ...
eg ..
singlets, trackies, sloppy joes, jumper, and many more ..
singlet = warm undergarmet
trackies = track pants
sloppy joes = jumper type garment made out'v track pant material
jumper = warm garment for upper body, often knitted ...

First of all - not bored. This is a great image and very well put together. My eye wanders around the image, spotting something new with each circuit. And your stance, framed in the center of the mirror, shows off your personality.

I have no personality at 5:30 in the morning.

However...

I'm from Tennessee, USA. What the heck is a wollongong, or a paddock?
We don't have these words here.
