Taken from a cabin we stayed at near Leadville, CO. The mountain in the back ground is Mt. Huron which I believe is one of several 14,000 foot peaks located in Colorado.

converted several images from raw at 5 different exposures
adjusted levels and curves in layers to improve the sky and background mountains, removed the mask on lower have to return them to close to correct exposure.

What a view! The house does not stand out clearly, it seems kind of lost in the similiarly toned hill. My eye was steered to it and then went right past it.
Very interesting location and a very pleasing shot. I wish the building had more of a red/brown tone. As it is here it feels a bit too yellow/green and blends with the background too much. Wish it stood out a bit stronger. Very nice overall though.
A subtle nicely lit peaceful scene. I'm not sure the small size does it fair justice (which unfortunately can hurt scores here). I suspect just a touch more sharpening is needed, but overall I like the different "layers" presented here - sky, clouds, mountains, hill, water.
