Playing around practicing still life set ups. Natural light next to a window. Reversed the colors by increasing lightening in the red channel and decreasing lightening in the yellow channel after desaturating ... the apple in the foreground is green and the pockmarked one in the middle bottom is actually red ... just liked the way it looked better that way than with the more true to life colors.

A little stronger on USM again then I'm used to doing. Also did a gaussian blur layer faded to about 15% at 3 pixels at the end ... something else I rarely do but am playing around with in this challenge.

Nice still life with a good range of tones. Still life is all about the lighting in my mind. This isn't bad, but a bit more shadow play would really make it pop.

This reminds me of a pencil drawing and that is my favorite median for art. I've spent many a hour with a number 2 pencil and paper just drawing fruits and other still life. Of course none of my drawings ever looked this good, but that isn't the point right? Interesting post processing, I'll have to try it. Awesome job with the light, composition, framing, etc..I really love it.
