Don't think there's anything wrong with your gear. 1/90th shutter speed is what borked your focus here. That's too slow to stop people from blurring out slightly, even when they are standing 'still'.
Nice composition and it looks really good in b/w. |

I love the tight crop and the framing by her hair. But her expression really makes the shot for me. Beautiful portrait. |

The focus seems a touch off, though you may have wanted that. Beautiful capture of a lovely face. You literally caught the sparkle in her eyes. |

Nice. I like the ringlets of hair on either side acting as a micro frame. The hair on the left side near the eye is a bit distracting (or it adds some down-home feel to it, depending on your point of view). |
