Whole bunch of computer screws I borrowed from the physics lab. Setup was easy, lighting was hard.
It all comes down to how you light these damn things. Realized the best way was the make the shutter really slow and the aperture really small and have a tiny bit of ambient light. Then, you very quickly swing by a spotlight from three differenct angles, carefully calculating your path and exposure to get the perfect glow.
I actually went out to buy a star 6 filter which doesn't seem to do anything. I tried everything ;(
Would have been nice to have some glowing stars to simulate that cartoon-gold glow; but I think it looks pretty good anyway.

Post Processing: Grayscale, ColorBalance for gold, brightness down, contrast up, intensity up, unsharp at radius 7, border.

I have a screw "collection" just like this, because I work as a computer technician. Nice coloring and lighting.

I Don't like the srews. They are from computer, not from some greese engine.
If they were in more shapes, and so "new" maybe that would "soul" to the picture, here I just se bunch of screws from my computer case.

ANOTHER collection of bolts. Pretty, I suppose, but not much in the composition to hold my interest, sorry!
