 My Neighbor's Very Photogenic Golden Retriever. He comes down the street to visit once in awhile and when I saw him backlit up on the hill, I ran and got my camera, but couldn't get him to turn to the side a little like when I first saw him up there. Still, I thought it was a pretty cool shot.

Cool bokeh for Lance. (I'll bet that's a first for him!) Good detail in his face and fur.

Yes, I like this for the crisp blacks & whites, the fine detail & the way it makes a portrait of his face. The BG adds to the overall effect--it almost looks 3D & I keep expecting Lance to move. "D

yes a very cool shot .. love the lighting ..
you are very fortunate in your subject ..
i would be unable to post either of my dogs if they were standing like that for fear of offending some viewers ... our dogs have very short hair .. i personally dont mind because i'm now totally desensitised .. :)
