Not sure you really needed the 'person' but it adds humor. I really like the warm tone of the image, coupled with the texture of the wood is really great. DOF is good too. The hot spots on the heads of the two screws are a little distracting, but not overly so. Interesting image.

Would be better without that blurry screw in the foreground. DOF seems very small as well.

hehehe. i like this! has a landscape feel. good focus choice. usually having a blurred object in the foreground is distracting, but in this case, i think it is okay.

Great lighting and color. But out of focus foreground screw distracts. The irregulariity is good, but would have preferred no screws to intersect (uniformly random).

Personally, I'd have left the little happy face guy out. It strikes me as though the artist thought his composition needs just "something more" but he/she couldn't come up with what and so just stuck that in. Great use of DOF and differing textures between screws and background works well, though.

I get a very warm feeling from your photo. I think it would also work if you had a soccor ball, and the screws be people. But thats just me, so whatever. I like it!
