I like the DOF here, weird little plant. Nice job capturing it in an interesting way. |

I really like the colors in this, and the depth of field used. Would make a neat print for an apartment or something. karmat |

Good pic, I don't quite see the negative space |

Absolutely great shapes created by the leaves and white space. The angle is good, and the positioning of the stem and pot in the frame very strong. Great image! 9, Kavey |

I love the color and framing on this, and how the leaves intertwine with the negative space. |

nicely done. I would be interested to see what it looks like if you cropped the left 1/3 of the pic |

I'm usually bad at botany, but I don't think that's bamboo...no effect on my score, however. |

The green stands out really well against the white background. I also love the angle of your shot. 8-Martin |

According to my art school definition, this is one of the best uses of negative space. If you remove the subject, the other spaces are still interesting, Nice composition and colors all green. I wonder if the point that is in perfect focus is right- is that the focal point of the picture? I would have rather had the stub of the stem in focus or else the top leaf, instead of the iddle of the leaf stems. How about 9? |

I like to simple 2 colour effect. I wonder whether it could have been framed to remove more of the pot which distracts a little. 6 |

Great work I love this. Great color, composition and dof. Such a cool perspective. Neg Space: I believe that the white neg space most definately adds umph to this photo. Excellent work 10 Ruthann (update) |

I like the use of neg spc in this shot. I especially like the way all of the lines and curves of the leaves lead the eye down into the "stalk" of the plant, and on to the bottle. Very interesting, and a very engaging composition. lhall-8 |
