You Brits (I assume) come up with some good stuff. All that Monty Python and Benny Hill and the like. Good list of BS. I'm not sure it's motivational though.

When I was a kid, I saw a similar sign like this for sale in a department store. "OATS...Buying merchandise from us is like buying oats. If you want good, clean, fresh oats, then you will have to pay a fair price. However, if you want oats that have already been through the horse, then the price would be considerably less." :}
