From Critique Club.

This is a very good shot with perfect composition, great intriguing light distribution and color range. 'The Water Pourer' is the exact translation of Aquarius zodiac from my native language and I am not sure if 'Water Bearer' really suits the Aquarius. This sign is misterious and sometimes indeciseive which might mean that Aquarius holds the water and promices to spill it, yet never does :o)

I did not rate the image very high just because I prefer more symbolism and abstraction, especially when it comes to zodiacs.

Very nicely done. I would have preferred that the lighting reflection not be visible though in the inside back of the picture. This distracts from the beautiful illumination of the poured water that you have captured in this picture.

I like the rendering of the water; you can see some detail while the sense of a steady stream remains. The lighting is interesting.

Catches the eye.

Nice lighting and sharpness. Water flow could be more interesting.

I think a tighter crop would look better, but an excellent shot! Good luck!

I like the water & the shadowing.

The jug has a wonderful glowing quality to it. The lightiing is really fantastic. You caught the water well. I'd crop in more - lose some of the blackness. 9

Nice composition, nice color, great use of light.

Interesting light and shadow but not enough interest for me in terms of the content itself.

Painting with light? Represents Aquarius well - nice contrast. Good job!

great light, great composition! You're still getting a high score from me, but I would like to see that white spot disappear, and maybe have the water just a hair sharper.

The light is superb.

The shadow cast is a great touch. Wonder what it would look like with a longer shutter?

Nice, simple picture. Good dark background retained. Nicely graduated ahadow. The only thing that bothers me is the catchlight on the rim of the jug. It seems to unbalance the picture. put the end of your finger over it and see how the whole picture flows from right to left - or left to right, without disruption

nicely lit shot. a bit too much shadow on the right.

Actually I believe that Aquarius is the water bearer not the water pourer. Aquarius is actually an air symbol. I do like how you cover your hand leaving a question about who is doing the pouring. that makes for effective photography when you can ask a question. it's a very well done shot, with great lighting. nice job... I'm just not sure it fits the challenge. I'm going to give you a 6 anyway because the shot is really nice!

absolutely magnificent...i just keep looking at it. the only nit picky thing that bothers me is the bright spot on the picture but I am still giving this a 10
