This is out my office window. The BG here is just a retaining wall (the bright part) and some scruffy grasses and the street. The tears in the screen are courtesy of Karma the Wonderdog, who uses this as a window on the world and gets too enthusiastic sometimes.

I truly like this one. The colors, the vibrancy ... and the tear bringing us back to reality.

Nothing finer than a pattern interrupted. Lovely work, sir. Give Karma a treat for helping create this.

The tear in the screen makes me wonder if someone is longing to get in...or get out. Lovely colors and very interesting visual patterns.

As my eyes move around, the lines of the screen appear to be moving.
Great colours and the tear is a nice place for my eyes to rest. :)

I love seeing something so plain and ordinary made interesting. The flower - or whatever it is, behind, makes the shot. Well, not all together, cause it's the balanace of that and the focused tears in the screen. This is another that would have such impact LARGE on a wall. I can almost feel the texture of it.

What grabs me about this is the contrast between those dreamy soft sunset colors -- and the old rusty screen. It's so unexpected, and the tear in the screen adds interest and composition.

What I like about this is the space alien, a Grey, lurking on the right side of the image half out of view. I suppose the tear in the screen is what should catch my eye, but I keep going back the the Grey. ;)

This actually kind of hurts to look at. :-) Not the image itself of course, which is lovely, just the regularity of the pattern and its high contrast against the bright colour, as happens when you see a fine pattern on TV.
