Great shot, and although I'm not big fan of editing I actually quite like the way you have made this image intentionallly softer -- you managed to use the A60's natural softness to your advantage!!! Good work!!

Love this shote - beautiful colours - Try cropping much tighter around the dog and friend and I think it gives it much more impact and gets rid of the traffic light control growing out of his head

Subject matter is very compelling. Great human interest story type photograph. Composition could be somewhat improved with a different angle of view and maybe a narrower DOF. Meets the challenge theme well. Nicely done.

A great cover pic depicting the Sign of the the Times in America.

I gave you a 5 because I like the idea of the photo. I usually vote down a lot when a picture has as much neat image applied to it as this one has. All of the texture and detail was erased and I feel that it is no longer a photograph.

Not fond of blurry background but the subject is great.

I think this would have been a great portrait without the painterly effect. It still looks nice, but vould have been stronger.

sorry, this would be a 7 or 8 from me if it wasn't for the overuse of neatimage or what ever tool has been used to smooth it so much. almsot looks like a painting in teh background.

nice documentary shot.... but did you apply some sort of effect to the image? like water color or something? Looks unnatural in the background. also, too tilted. needs to be rotated CW

The effect used here is distracting. Nice shot all the same.

I like the idea in this shot very much, actually it's quite unique. The picture looks almost like a painting - heavy postprocessing perhaps? Would be even better without the car on the left. Congratulations on a nice shot!

Congrats on the cover shot! ;) Shot tells a story, crisp colors. The background traffic lights and beyond distracts my eye away from your subject. The shot would be better if this was eliminated by a different camera angle or blurry dof. Also the pole growing out of his head ;) should be cloned out.

This is a very touching photo and so cute! I like the colors. My favorite thing about it, is just how personal you made this photo.

Nice shot, but it looks kind of overprocessed, like too much neat image.
