Ok, Pittsburgh isn't necessarily a frozen tundra, per se, but it fit the challenge a little better... :) This is actually a house being built near us. It's rumored to be in the $20 million range.

So hard to get exposures right on this sort of shot but it has been done here. Still retaining detail in the shadows of the balconies. That patch on the left bothers me though. Hold a piece of card along the left to crop that out and it seems to tighten everything up without losing the essence of the picture.

really can't imagine this being in NG, it's surely not a real castle is it? Looks about 20 years old. That aside, I like your composition.

Looks like a house for a movie star or head of state. Lovely building and I think the snow/cold cement color really ties this together. Good winter shot.
