To mark the end of the summer... a sweet macro on the the lime in my gin and tonic. Nothing fancy here, except the sun was setting behind some trees so I had to keep repositioning my drink back into the sun.

my fav drink! Well taken shot, but I think I'd have liked it more if you'd been even closer on the lime/ fizz and didn't show the glass at all. A whiter background might have been more dramatic too ?

Good shot, very detailed bubbles. I can taste the beverage. The only thing that I would like better in the photo is to see more than just the rind of the lime.

It seems a little faded... try changing the contrast a little bit. 8.

Make a nice print to put up over the bar, good work.

This is a very nice macro shot... the detail is quite excellent... I would have loved to see some of the side of the lime slice in this glass.. I'm not sure how difficult that may have been... good shot :) - 8 - jmsetzler

Well-centered. Good lighting. The only thing I may have tried different is the background color.

Fruit and bubbly water, great combo! Good color, framing works, but I think I would have filled the glass less, and skipped the glass rim. 9 Swash

This is not what your mama had in mind when she told you to eat your vegetables.

gave the strawberries one a ten, you get a nine, only difference is the splash, tough to beat.

Nice sharp focus, Love the bubbles. Something lacking in the composition for me, but a great shot nonetheless. 7 ~indigo997

Love the close up of the bubbles.

Another really well thought out and superbly executed shot. The composition is first class and the achieved effect is mouth wateringly good. Terrific use of macro and lighting. Overall, the shot leaps out and is punctuated by making the viewer – me in this case – become fanciful of a Gin and Tonic… (10)

Very nice. You can just feel how cold this is.

I can feel the fizz! Good enought to drink!

Cool! Love the bubbles. I would like to have seen a more dynamic composition - the lime seems to sit dead center, and while I believe in breaking "rules", in this case it doesn't work for me that well. lhall-7
