I don't know if this will do well or not, but I thought it was too fun an idea to pass up. I wish I had more time to find a spot that would more closely replicate the "Dawn of Man" scene from the movie, but this is what I'm left with.
Took a picture of the hay bale landscape, then took a picture of the ipod making sure to put the flash in the same location the sun was coming from. Cut out the Ipod from the shot, pasted it in the hay bale photo. Then I cut around part of the hay bale and some of the grass blades to make it fit into the shot. Added a shadow and here it is. Some image adjustments to adjust color and such. USM.

I wondered what inspired Apple's designers!

Think I already saw that somewhere

I like the idea, but it seems like you stopped midway. Maybe if the iPod had a wipe and looked more like a forman...

Photo looks great. I like the composition, I did notice that the ipod is the only thing in the photo that has a shadow. Not really noticeable but does not quite fit. I think the photo could be a little brighter and maybe have some color adjustment but other then that great photo.

Funny. Would work so much better if there was monkeys or some kind of animal around.

Silly billy. Looks like could be used for an Ad, but doesn't feel sci-fi enough for me.

Good pp work (the shadow especially), a bit contrasty and harsh lighting in the field photo. I just think it would have been great to add some science fiction type options in the ipod menu.
