This was kind of a funny shot to take. The model is myself. Self timer and I would run from the camera and back at it. Took a few tries before I got one that I liked.
Yes, that is Haystack Rock, if you are familiar with it.
This shot represents my dedication to running and other excercise in the New Year.

Nice picture but the runner is obscured.

good idea, nice location but i think that the runner shouldn't be in front of the rock - you kinda have to look for him... 6

Very pretty scenery , I like how the runner isn't really obvious. It's a little crooked but otherwise I really like it,

I like the angles, but the runner could be closer and sharper.

Great composition. I love running on mornings like this in places like this.

Nice. I would try and crop a bit on the bottom. And get the horizon straight.

Only suggestion would be to straighten the horizon line and maybe wait until the runner is beyond the large rock - his dark jacket blends in too much with the rock ... or else have the runner wear a lighter jacket. Very nice setting for a photo, tho.

Great color but contrast is a bit too high as you've lost detail in the man. Should have exposed when runner was between rocks. Also, horizon is not level.

Nice colours, tone and scenery. Horizon not horizontal? Wish the runner were closer. Fits the theme.

Good idea. The runner is obscured by the rock, should have been between the rocks.

Looks like a beautiful place to be... wish I could take daily long walks there.

Good scene and exposure. Watch for, and correct, tilt on the horizon. Also, subjectively, this would have been better if the runner had not had the rock behind him (he would have stood out more as your subject).

I would've liked to see the runner against the sky rather than the rock. Still nice.

Nice capture but since the point of focus is suppose to be the runner, I would have moved to an angle so that the runner was in front of sky instead of a dark rock.

I like so much from the landscape, despite of the horizon that is incorrect, but... What that runner is doing there? Read the rule of thirds in this site tutorials section, it will help you to improve the message about the subject of a photography.

Nice!I would rotate the photo (the line of the horizon is not flat) and would cut the bottom of the shot (it adds nothing to the image, it's only distracting)

You'll probably get lots of "The horizon isn't level" kinds of comments. For me, that's what gives this photo the extra boost it needs to jump one point. It gives the runner a nice slant as well. I would like to see the same shot, but with the runner in different places -- some with him silhouetted by the sky rather than in front of the large rock. I'm not sure if it would be better that way, but it would be worth a look.

The large rock behind the runner makes him a bit harder to see, maybe if he had been over to the left a little between the two rocks it would have made him stand out a bit more.

Wow..HayStack. I'm surprised to see it looking so nice and warm [shorts!!!!] after the week of weather we've had. The boys in a dark top is a little lost in-front of the dark rock. Other then that this is a nice shot.
