 My first picture with my new Canon Digital Rebel EOS300D camera, very exciting and pleased with the result.

A simple shot to create, actually. All I did was setup as seen, and brought the light very close and just over the cup to emphasize the whiteness. The cup and saucer was placed on a sheet of white paper. Then I decreased the saturation in photoshop, and voila. Hope you like.

Nice high key image with good contrast. Image is a little flat for me with your choice of desaturation and shadows could be a bit softer as well. Lighting appears too harsh, but I guess that's all part of high key images. Composition is well balanced.

Love the contrasting colors.
Haven't you heard, coffee is good for you now. Can't say as much for the cigs. Great photo though.

Great subjects and really good set up. I'd like to see the same thing with a dark background... but I'm being picky. I quit smoking over 5 years ago and quit drinking caffeine 6 months later. I wish you luck with your resolutions! :-)

Already? LOL Good intentions anyway. Love the tone and the focus is really nice. Beans are just a little bit dark, but hey they are coffee beans. :) Nice going. 8 from me.
