The blurriness and overexposed top part (from a flash) is too distracting...
06/26/2007 06:59:14 PM
uh...lady bugs! Maybe would have been a better macro if you only had 2 or 3 bugs in the photo.
06/25/2007 10:11:40 PM
Not quite a macro and the flash should be backed off a bit. Part of the image is over exposed which make the image not so attractive. Great job catching a rare scene.

Yikes!! DrAchoo's ladybug graveyard? Shocking! Seriously it's very interesting to find this many ladybugs!
06/24/2007 04:20:50 PM
bugs
06/23/2007 09:57:19 PM
Your lighting is too harsh here.... but the subject is very interesting.
06/23/2007 02:00:37 PM
neet shot of a LOT of ladybugs. the light is very harsh.
06/23/2007 01:23:21 PM
A ladybird orgy?
06/23/2007 12:48:52 AM
looks like an insect problem. nice image
06/23/2007 12:10:11 AM
Quite a bit over exposed. Doesn't exactly give us a great example of what this challenge was looking for.
06/22/2007 07:37:24 PM
Wow that's a lot of Ladybirds. This was a good find if only you'd been able to get in a little tighter, or if you could have taken it without the flash to keep the colours. The composition is nice, OK it's not really macro but it's still nice.
06/22/2007 04:08:52 PM
That's where they have been hiding! Wow.
06/22/2007 10:19:10 AM
I guess if you can win a ribbon with one or two ladybugs, then a hundred must be a guarantee? Unfortunately, I don't think so. There is much too much going on here. the lighting is very harsh, and is blown out on the top. would have been better off to take one or two of those little critters and put them in a less cluttered environment.
06/22/2007 12:26:14 AM
The lighting here is too harsh and the composition too busy. Nothing here appears to be a macro or gets the viewer wondering what he/she is looking at. I give this a 3 vote.
06/22/2007 12:12:08 AM
hmmm...where did u find so many?
06/21/2007 07:32:02 PM
Lady bug tea party :)
06/21/2007 08:49:52 AM
That's a lot of ladybugs. It's overexposed, though. And you were supposed to make this difficult to guess, this is pretty easy, sorry.
06/21/2007 08:05:31 AM
kinda creepy but nice
06/21/2007 05:40:39 AM
Too overexposed. Could you have gotten in closer so that all there was in the picture is a bund of the beetles.
06/21/2007 01:48:04 AM
ladybugs?!
06/21/2007 12:13:37 AM
Somebody has a ladybug infestations.
06/21/2007 12:10:46 AM
Wow that is a lot of ladybugs. Too bad about the over exposure. Looks like some rough light.
06/21/2007 12:10:08 AM
I hate those things, they are mutants and they bite....
06/20/2007 10:17:38 PM
Bit overexposed. Lots of ladybirds having a thrip feast. Excellent capture. Good levels and contrast close up, perhaps a tighter crop would have done a bit better to remove the burn. Well Done Though. 6/10
06/20/2007 10:05:12 PM
the puzzle here is what killed all these ladybugs? an interesting comp w/interesting processing & a strange twist on the challenge
06/20/2007 08:33:47 PM
lighting a little harsh...
06/20/2007 08:25:16 PM
ladybugs (or Asian beetles) - the lighting feels kind of awkward on this photo. It is way too bright at the top.
06/20/2007 06:41:34 PM
Lots and lots of ladybugs in a bunch of discarded greens clippings the way it looks. I've never seen so many together in one place without them being distributed for agricultural assistance. Since many are upside down are they dead and in the trash? It's a little blown out on top.
06/20/2007 05:40:49 PM
Ladybird genocide?
06/20/2007 03:12:17 PM
wow that's a lot of ladybugs.
06/20/2007 02:42:20 PM
1) Way over exposed, 2) does not meet challenge criteria, but 3) nice find!
06/20/2007 12:54:24 PM
Lady bug orgy?
06/20/2007 12:06:20 PM
Yikes, that's a lot of ladybugs :-)
06/20/2007 03:37:43 AM
Dr Achoo's worst nightmare
06/20/2007 02:17:13 AM
That's a lot of ladybugs my friend! Watch your highlights around the top of the image, maybe bring down the levels a little.
06/20/2007 01:38:54 AM
um... too many ladybugs!
