 Just for the record, I hate basic editing :)

Made this a lot more frustrating. I had other takes that had the notes in much crisper focus, but couldnt use them because they required some burning to get rid of stray light.

Blue and orange lights are both glowsticks, with the blue light being taped with electrical tape to allow for the bands. The notes are formed by a cardboard cutout, with the glowstick behind it. The sax is illuminated by a flashlight.

Took 60 different photos, none of which were exactly how i wanted. Many had stray light on my hands, the wall, or the cloth below the sax.

cool pic. silhouette of a player on the sax, rather than the cloth stand, would have wow'd me a little more

This is my favorite in this challenge. Absolutely superb and enjoyable to view (and "hear"). This deserves to win this challenge. Hope to see a blue ribbon for this for you.

Well done. This must have been quite tricky to get lined-up. The lighting on the sax is quite good too.

Interesting use of light. Think this image would have been more engaging with a human subject, someone playing as a reason for the music to be coming out. I know it would have made the shot more difficult but it would have been worth it I think.
