 Pretty crazy (yet simple) setup for this one. Covered a little shop light with aluminum foil and punched a pinhole in the center. Hung that from the ceiling. Pointed the camera straight up at it (from about 4 feet away). Put the camera in manual, f/11, bulb setting (ended up being a 76 sec exposure), iso 200, 18mm. Focused on the foil with the lights on then killed all lights except the point. Swung the light, hit the button on the remote, waited a while, hit the button again to close the shutter.

After processing, it was brought to my attention that the pinhole seems to have acted like a pinhole camera. An impression of the text on the light bulb appeared in the pattern of light!

Shot in RAW: adjusted the white balance to give the white light some color

cool affect but it leaves feeling like... what's the point? To be more stunning graphically I think I'd prefer less of the outside space, perhaps even none at all to give it a continuous feel, that way you have the effect of feeling like it goes on forever.
