This little boat and dock were in a pond that was about 1500 square feet. My first thought was ,why the boat in such a small pond, when you can reach the entire pond with a cane pole. My second thought was, it's an empty pond anyway. True, we are in a huge drought, so I am sure it had water at one time. But to me this just captured an image that said a lot about our drought conditions. "why won't it rain?"

Too much foreground that does not add to the picture IMO. Overall, good photo though.

I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......

I like the concept alot but I think a closer shot would give a better feel to it.

This is a very sad and an immensly humorous shot all in one. I wonder what happened.

aww man thats gotta suck! Its been that way for a while too, there is grass growing! I would have cropped it just above the folding chair on the dock, the table and grill on the shore are distracting. The sepia tones work nicely. Good find!
