I never expected I would earn my very first ribbon. This photo was taken in my home studio using a single softbox and a black background to achieve a dramatic low key effect. Now that this image won a ribbon, I am going to print a copy, frame it and give it to her as birthday present.

Excellent tones for a very dramatic photo that fits the challenge theme well.
I worry your black background was added in PP and will get you DQ'd as happened to a ribbon winner in the most recent Free Study. But I will vote as if it has been validated! :-) |
