Oooh - that is so sweet! I totally missed this one, Roz! I've been commenting on about 30 photos a day, which is probably about half... so this one fell through the cracks. I love the bird's expression - do birds have expressions?? And the gorgeous background. Great processing on this.

this is an excellent close up. and the bird is in focus. i know those suckers like to move pretty quick so it is hard to get a pic of them without too much blur. the bird has a very sweet face - so cute!

WOW!!! I LOVE this photo, Roz! I love that ethereal white bokeh background, and the feathers on the bird are so soft and pretty -- yet SHARP! You did an amazing job on this photo!

Cute shot I love how the focus is on the bird and everything around is smudged out. I think the high key works with this shot as well

yeh great bokeh, little bit blown but what can ya do huh?.. Impossible to get the bird bright enough without taking the whites out.. still, I think it adds to the shot in this case.

Roz I love sparrows - pocket sized energy, especially around cafes - GRIN!

Find the white bokeh a little full on, but no biggie.

What a sweet little guy! The "blown" background works well here - helps define the bird quite nicely.
