I really find myself enjoying this image. Just something about it really gives me a nice feeling. The simplistic chaos of the organized blades shoots upwards towards the unknown with grace. Very nice image.
Very painting-like and nice energy with the blades going off in all directions. The high contrast works well for the subject, and even though that makes the bokeh stand out a lot more, it works IMO - adds another set of abstract shapes to the image.
Ha, not boring at all! I like this, very much. Again, just like your shot from day 1, I suspect that the image has a much different impact in colour than in b/w.
i am going to call you a goob every day of this challenge. This is not boring - this is pretty! the frame fits in so well with the pic. I like the contrast and the sharpness of some of the grass pieces in front. very nice!
I like the darkness of this, looks like a Fine Art photo. I think the sign of a good photographer is that they kind find a good photo anywhere. Nothing boring about this at all.
roz - really nice image! The contrast is really excellent and the lighting on the grass -especially the shadows across individual blades adds such nice depth. And you said you didn't know anything about b/w...
I like the defined highlights, but I do find some of the bokeh to be a bit distracting from the beauty and simplicity of the grasses. It almost seems it might lend itself better to a much smoother background. The border was a nice touch.
Are you kidding? Not boring at ALL! This is very artistic, in fact, I saw a modification of this once as a ribbon winner. It's the sparkly bokeh background that makes this such a standout!
