 This is very different from my first concept, but I'm fairly pleased with it I suppose.

This is a composition of two seperate images, both taken at Waipio Valley. Getting here is no easy journey, let me tell you. A two hour drive to get there, and then about 2 miles down a 60 degree incline off the side of a cliff. Then there's the two rivers and the horses...
Some people actually live down there. I can't imagine how they commute to work every day. Most own said horses for tourist rides and others have taro plantations (the heart shaped leaves you can see next to me).

But it all adds up to one amazing day. I haven't been there in a while, and was happy we could go again.

The first image is of the actual vallies in the background, and the second is that of me with my umbrella and some of the foliage in the foreground. Most of the fog was also added by me. Yes I know, I did somewhat of a shoddy job, but my patience was wavering.

So lush and green! And the mist adds an ethereal atmosphere. With the umbrella I almost would have thought this was Thailand or somewhere in the far east.

Very impressive vista, and including the model is a good touch and colors chosen in her clothes and parasol compliment the overall color scheme of the shot.

This is really beautiful. I get a feeling there is a teeny bit too much yellow in the sky but not enough to ruin the photo. 9 from me.
