My Mother-in-Law and her two sisters when they came to visit for her birthday.

This is the start of a project I've been wanting to do to study how people interact with a suspended frame.

Lighting was done with a Speedlite 580 shot into an umbrella. It was shot at night with nothing but my yard in the background. This is why it is black.

I had to levels adjust to get the middle black shirt not to meld into the background. This made her background a little grayer and I had to curves multply her layer and mask in just her background. It blends on my monitor, but I'm afraid it may show through on others.

Fun shot, the only suggestion I would make is that under advanced editing you could have lost the wires that support the frames.

Creative take on what is a triptych - it looks like they all had fun modeling for it! Possible improvement would be to have your middle model wearing a shirt that isn't quite so dark and contrasts better with the background.

This is great. A shot to be prowd of. The chose of tones on this one is perfect. My only problem is the shadows on the last lady. Her face seems a bit dark.
