Common Name: Blue Morpho Butterfly
Scientific Name: Morpho peleides limpida.

Family: Nymphalidae.

Subfamily: Morphinae.

Genus: Morpho, Fabricius, 1807.

Species: peleides.

FW Length: 64-78 mm.

Geographic Range: from sea level to 1800 m, on both slopes, in association with all forest habitats.

Host Plant (s): Macharium, Pterocarpus, Lonchocarpus, Mucuna. (Fabaceae).

Unique Characteristics: This is the most common species of morpho in Central America, and its floppy, zigzag flight along rivers and forest edges and through coffee plantations is a familiar sight.

Very eye-catching! I have yet to get this nice of a butterfly shot. They just don't cooperate for me! I agree with the comments about cropping tighter, especially up from the bottom. The butterfly itself is nice a clear and vibrant.

Great color saturation and nice focus on the butterfly ... the spiderweb in the lower left is distracting to my eye ... makes me think the image is scratched ... I'd try a tighter crop to eliminate the web along with the stems from the leaves ... both of those things compete for attention with that gorgeous butterfly ...

I would crop out the lower right portion of the image to focus more on the butterfly, center the butterfly in your shot, full framed. the detaling on the wings is very beautiful.
