Hello,
Overall I like the elements of the photo. The use of the crumbs as a leading line are a nice touch & the placement of the bread is very nice. I also like the use of the color a nice blend. I also like the choice of cornbread in relation to the challage very nice. Some of the problems with the photo:. The choice of side lighting created several major problems for you here. 1) It caused what is called (blowout) loss of detail in the bread it self. 2)Rendered the front of the bread completely useless, no detail at all. 3) It created a very long distracting shadow pulling the eye away from your subject. Your leading line (entry point) into the picture is out of focus defeating the intended purpose. Most of the problems that you created with your choice of light could have been resolved by bouncing light down onto the seen. This would have given you the detail on the front & side of the bread eleminated 90% of the shadow's and given you more balance thou-out the entire photo. It would have also given you the same effect as using a warming filter which would have had a dramatic effect on the over all photo. |

Thanks a lot for critics. I can say I do that photo with no any photo eqipment. Just old piece of paper and regular lamp. I did not use any filters or other improvements and I it is really helpfull that I must do much more next time.
Thanks again and wish you all the best in 2004.
Regards

okay, I couldn't tell why this finished so poorly, but I didn't notice the background on my old monitor which was callibrated funny.
This has potential, tho |

This is so wonderful that I don't know what to comment on it. I love everything about it. Nothing would have this photo looks better than it does. 10 |

sunny or cloudy....oh what to do....Well OK it blends nice with the subject so I'll let it go....but you have promise you'll do something better for the background material next time becasue the paper is just not happening beyond the bread. |

the angle is great & really adds to what could have been an otherwise boring shot. Good stuff |

It has a lot of complex details but still a good proposal to the theme. |

I love this shot, especially the color and you can feel some anticipation as if someone or something is about to eat it. |
