I understand the voting. I think it is the great sense of movement in the shot that earned you the ribbon. That is what made me give a high score.

Visually straining (in a good way) so as to force the viewer to focus on the intended subject. It feels like my eyes are crossing when I attempt to focus on the background! :)

Speaking of the background - it seems so well captured as a blur that it looks very 3D, as if it's 30 layers back/deep. It also looks as though it's several shots superimposed on one another and then layered under the subject. Quite complex.

Awesome; I love this shot!
Well deserved ribbon - congrat's!

Whoa! I'm glad you were wrong. I would have been really disappointed in the voters if they had voted this one low. It is amazing.

Congratulations on your ribbon! This is really great!

I absolutely love the colors, motion blur, dark tones, and what makes this picture the winner for me is the fact that the second cyclist and bike are symmetrically included so as to aid the main cyclist but so as not to become a distraction. Lucky you! YOU ARE MY WINNER FOR THIS CHALLENGE!!!

Almost great. It would have been a lot better if you could see the second riders head. I love the motion blur.

this is excellent - the only ting I could improve is make it more horizontal. The colors and movement compliment the excellent subject.

Great shot... so good in fact that it doesn't even look like a "basic" editing shot.

Powerful shot! amazing colours and great speed. The only way i can see to improve it is that the front wheel is cropped out and i don't feel it should be. 9! : - )
