How exciting!! Thank you all for voting so high and for your nice comments. I'm so surprised! And it's a really nice surprise.
P.S. I couldn't quite figure out how to put this in the "photographer's comments" window- must be a member's thing(?).

Wow, this is a great image! Interesting, quirky, vibrant, unusual. Each element - the yellow brick wall, the window, the sign itself, the brick paving, the security rod and the bike itself - has it's place in the overall.

I dont think you put enough emphasis on the bike, but I actually like the yellow background contrasting with the blue bike.

How tha heck ? You must live in CA or something =) - I love this as I'm sure others will too. The bike is innocent and classic but still present-dayish - the yellow pain in contrast with the other elements is fantastic. I would put money on this for top 5 at least. 9

Bike seems a bit trapped there facing the right...maybe putting at left of frame as eye moves left to right? Great color by the way!

A simple but effective shot. Nice composition - perhaps more space above the sign would have added to the effect.

I like this... huge potential in the scene but something is missing in this shot, maybe too much separation between elements. A crop of the window and bike might have more impact.

This gives me a sense of peace and balance, very nice work! Maybe a warmer tone of the bike would have done better with the red and yellow, but I like it also this way

This picture is too bright and there is nothing really exciting about it. Maybe a different angle would have made it better.

I love this! The blue against the yellow is awesome and the red sign balances out the shot well. High marks from me.
