i don't think i consider this "soft focus"

Interesting and creative use of a "filter" requiring no adapter, even for a point-and-shoot camera. Maybe a little less glare from the upper right would soften the reflections off the glass, but overall I like it.

I dont see this as a soft image more of a crinkled look It looks a bit like an oil painting

Although it fits the softness concept, I don't think it flatters the subject. Grotesque instead of flattering in my opinion.

An interesting study - I had a similar idea but didn't pursue it - perhaps a little less tungsten on the top right but ui makes a fascinating "almost abstract".

This is not true "soft focus" but a great, creative capture and should place high in the challenge. Congrats on a fine picture.

i'm not sure the glass has created a soft focus for you.

A creative alternative (one that also crossed mymind) and nicely done.

It's unfortunate that you have so much glare from the light above and I wonder if you actually needed it on? There seems to be suffiicient light elesewhere.

To avoid it I would experiment with hue and saturation to reduce the yellow cast or, as a last resort go mono with it, which may have the added effect of making the subject more abstract.

This is a neat shot. I like the idea in general, but this image has an impressionistic feel moreso than a soft focus feel.

I really like this....it is very soft....only a muffled glimpse of the subject, but it is clear in the delivery....the colors are vibrant too.

I've been wanting to do a flower photo using a shower door. This is really good. My only suggestion is that you try softer lighting. 7
