 Garth Tander (left) laps Dean Canto during race one of the Bigpond 400 at Barbagallo Raceway. Garth went on to win all three races - the first he has won in a national championship event at his home track - and the round, also a first at his home track.

Converted from RAW, exposure corrected upwards by 1.33, saved as jpeg, cropped, noise ninja run twice, resized with several steps down, usm run twice, first at 50% 0.9 and then 30% 0.6, added border using canvas size, saved for web.

Good action shot - love the flames. I like the framing too. I've never been to a car race, but the shots always look like fun.

Great action shot.....flames are outstanding, two tone border matches the car on the right; don't worry about border naysayers, it's a personal taste thing....very clean, exciting image that should have scored better IMO.

Great Shot. I'm off to the Clipsal 500 again next year. If you look in my portfolio you will find some Clipsal 500 photos. I like the fact that you have captured both cars under brakes with the burn off out the side. I think your photo should have polled better in the challenge

Good focus on the cars. Lose the red border, it's not that great.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.
