Alternate title - how do I get these into my iPod?

Liked the juxtapostion of the mannequin with the real person. And I figure there are some members of DPC who may have never even seen an actual vinyl album. And I fully expect a lot of DNMC votes, too.

Worked from the jpeg - crop, curves, high pass filter in soft light blending mode, resize, border, save for web.

I really like the context of the picture, amazing. There is a lot of repeating elements here, the records, the two similiar poses. Lots of circles and squares really make it a "modern" design. I think it seems a little crooked, or maybe the angle, still a great photo for the challenge.

great image, i think this might have been better from a lower POV.

I love the many small details in this. It seems every time I look I see something new that ties it all together, and into the challenge :)

The manikin looks like she is talking to the lady standing out front, and the lady looks like she doesn't want to hear it. She's definitely ignoring the current trends. I like the image.

Really neat shot Deb, I thought you did a good job with this. I still have a ton of vinyl at home.

Now. . .WHY did this cool photo only score 5.4!!!!! I think it's kinda cool that the real life model looks alot like a slightly older version of the manequin.

I think this is another "quite underrated" Melethia photo!!!!!

Another good photo, thought this would be higher, as you mention the mannequin creating an excellent effect. The price tags on the window probably cost you a vote.

A quick run through the entries shows that maybe 'pop culture' is too nebulous a concept for people to agree on. The innocent(?) bystander here really helps to set it off and define it. 8
