What cha cookin'? How about cookin' something up for me!
LOL. OK....I never said I was not titularly challenged.

I bought 6 red gerbera on Saturday. By Saturday night, because it was so HOT in my un-climate controlled apartment, one had drooped out. By Sunday another. By Monday, 3 more but not as bad as the first two. So I shot the three drooping ones with the one decent one remaining. Used a piece of red textured paper as a background. Shot in portrait I rotated 90° right for the presentation. Sometimes you just got shot what you got and I like how this turned out. Hope you do as well.

Post: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Crop twice. Layer of curves adjustment. Rotate, rotate, rotate....finally rotated as noted. Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen.

...what you got cookin ;)
Very nice lighting, choice of background and clever composition. Only nitpick are the translucent straws being visible. Perhaps something that couldn't be avoided but the one visible near the edge looks odd.

creative take on flowers - color tones are a standout - one of my ribbon picks

excellent composition, I assume those are nice and classy glas vases and not ugly plastic tubes that hold the flowers in place... like that I can give you that 10

The composition is great.I love the background pattern (perfectly chosen) and the subtle differences in shadows of red in this pictures. The green is very unusual yet natural - I'm glad you didin't shift the hues (at least it looks like that). Perfect title. 10.

cute. I wonder what it would have looked like on a different background.

Nice arrangement, and I like the red on red aspect. Only suggestion would be to remove the clear plastic stem support before shooting.

Good composition and color, but I think I would have liked it better if I couldn't see the tube the flower stems are in. Hard, though I know, with basic editing. Still a nice job.

I see this one coming in at a very good place :) Really really really unique idea and perfect execution. Reds are bright and crispy, photograph is noise free, and the expressions given to the inanimate objects are perfect :) All I have to say is GOOD LUCK AND GREAT JOB!! NVJC.
