One of many shots I took on my recent trip to NYC. This city just screams "PROPAGANDA!". There were guys selling all sorts of things on the sidewalks. Some wispered as you walked by, since they didn't have permits. Others spoke out loud: "His and hers Rolexes: $5". To me, this shot just yelled out to me.
Had difficulty balancing the darkness of the city streets with the bright sunny skies. The buildings are so damn tall that the streets are often dark, even in the middle of the day.
I wish the bus was not there, but I could not wait for it to move. Too many things to do and so little time. Busy, busy , busy!
Some cropping, levels, saturation adjustments. NeatImage, then back to PS for some resize and USM. |

Did you try a portrait orientation for this shot? or a square crop to loose most of the right brighter part of the image. 6 -danny |

| A comment on the propaganda that surrounds us, constantly calling to us (or shouting!) I like the color and composition. This swatch storefront seems like the bow of a ship setting sail in an ocean of advertising, Wish the sky weren't quite so bright. I might crop the lamp on the right out. |
