 This is the third blur experiment, where I used the smart blur filter to create a painting-like feel with blocks of solid color.

I'd really appreciate hearing what you think of the variations:

#1 (original, with everything sharp):


#2 (lens blur with the middle sharp):


#3 (lens blur with a closer section sharp):

I like this effect, but it just doesn't work on this shot IMO. (Not that my opinion is worth much!)

I've never tried this with smart blur like this, I think it works some but still but my least favorite of the bunch. I think my order is 3, 1, 2 4.
