I'm a newbie here, Here is my first submission.

This picture was taken in the Melbourne CBD.
It was a very big church, I was intended to capture many of picture from this church. Unfortunately, there were people praying and singing. So, i weren't not be able to capture something i wanted to. Moreover, my tripod was broken at the day... All photos at the day need to be hand held. :(

I also have another Church picture in my portfolio which were taken a month before.

I'm just getting interesting about photographing, I'd like to learn more about it. All comments are welcome. Thank you.

**PS. sorry for my poor English :) **

Here's the critique you requested, from the Critique Club.

The first thing I notice when looking at this picture is the beautiful warm color. It is very inviting and works with the spaciousness, soft focus, and the obvious fact that the photo is of the inside of a church to express sacredness quite well.

The viewpoint is very good. There are plenty of perspective clues to convey both the width and depth of the church very well. The exposure is perfect; the bright parts are burned out, but the tonal range inside the church is just right and there is plenty of detail in the shadows.

Great job on your first challenge entry.

Pwetty! I love the effect. You manage to retain the nice deep tones in the church, too! 9

This is so pretty, the gold tones and the light coming in the top window is just wonderful. The different way the pews run helps take you through the whole shot and keep you looking. The only thing I would have done differently was possibly straighten out the crop on the top or loosen it just a tad so the upper right corner didn't get cut off like it did. Also the corp on the left could be just a tad tighter. Started at a 7 but am going to a 9

Love the warm, intimate feeling of the shot that comes across through the lighting, and feel that it conveys the feeling of a sacred place. I also love wonderful architecture, so this shot definitely appeals to me from that angle as well. Also like the "soft focus" feel of the shot.

Good potential, maybe if shot from a less straight on position

I wanted to do something like this, but the light and the building didn't quite match up. Yours is much better than any I would have done, anyway -- great work. Beautiful warm colors.

I like this picture but, I would have liked to have seen a little more lighting on the pews. It's a beautiful photo but, I feel it lacks crispness.

Nice the sense of space the light and its reflections give.
