hmmm! I really like this, not sure if anyone else will? :)

The high tech lighting was the LED light on my camera remote. Turned out all the lights and painted my face with the LED. There was still a little ambient light from a window which made the rest of me visible. Most of the grain is sensor noise plus I added a little as well. Overlayed a couple of textures onto the background. :)

Took longer to come up with a title than it did to produce the completed shot! :D

This is so great. Thanks for sharing the details of the technique. I have a feeling I'm going to be trying this...

Amazingly creative and inventive. Very visually appealing - in a dark, ominous kind of way (just the way I like 'em). Great use of texture & noise. Superbly well done.

Yes - I like it! I like it very much! Sometimes we come up with a somewhat off-the-wall concept and sometimes the result is not so good and sometimes it's great. This is great! Well done.

I like the renaissance-like style (IMO).

Excellent... has a creepy apocalyptic totalitarian robotic automatonal sort of desperation about it. :) (Say that five times fast.) Very nicely done.

Awesome idea! There is the perfect amount of detail for this type of shot. Almost looks like a charcoal drawing. Vey cool!

Very cool processing. The tones are great and the blur really looks good in the picture.
