So Hahn23 was very wrong. Your shot was taken "live" and you survived!!!!

I hope those fools didn't score you low b/c of their ideas about "wild".

Hahn23 must have commented on 20 shots with the same quote below.

If no one would have survived this encounter in the wild then how and where the hell does all the other "big cat" shots come from that I see all over the freaking internet, books, TV etc...etc....

I guess this placed 32nd because of the environment?? I had some comments about the jungle. I guess people don't know that these guys Do live in the jungle.This is definitely taken in this cats natural environment about 400yds inland from the Carribean coast.Oh well..I really like this shot and its my highest score yet, Thanks for all your great Comments

Cougars are my favorite big cat. Love the lighting and nice crisp focus! Would love to know where you managed to photograph one in the wild...would be my dream to be able to do the same!

amazing clarity and color, great dof.. wish the bit of light green foliage on the bottom left third of the screen were gone..it's bright and distracting.. still giving this 8
