| When you decided that this subject would be your choice for the “Still Life” challenge, how many different photos did you make to try to find the best perspective? How many different lighting options did you try to see how light changes could change the mood of the photo? I believe that some considerations of these elements could have helped you create a higher impact photo. |

Its too .... shiny or something. There is too much lighting shone directly on the food, it is shining too much and making in unappealing
A better selection of colors would make this subject look better. They don't mix well.

| just a bit gross looking this close up, tooooo macro for my tastes. Further back and on a nice Asian piece of porcelain would have been better. |

| A unique idea on the challenge, point for that. As for the shot, it looks kinda gross, don't ask me why because I love this stuff but I guess I never really looked at it upclose. The colors seem dull and the contrast is wanting to me. I like the cropping overall, you have a bit of everything in there but overall it doesn't make me hungry and it doesn't really appeal to me.
