 Took a picture to go with the song, and am thouroughly expecting that people won't like how it relates to "match". Even going out of the box like "matchbox" or "Matchbox Twenty" would be a bit less DNMC if I actually took a picture of a matchbox or a CD, rather than an interpretation of the lyrics.

But my score here won't matter. I relate so much to the song... well I guess most people can, really. This was the first idea I had and I knew I had to go with it. And it was very fun to do the photoshoot and process this and other pictures.

If this were advanced editing I would clone out the spot in the background as well as evening out the skin tone on my forehead a little, and probably clone out that stray hair. Maybe do a little darkening of the forehead?

I'm going to have to start an official collection of "enlarged head self-portraits"...

I LOVE that song. And I think you nailed a photographic interpretation of it. You knew your score would suffer, but the photo's wonderful. :) not sure why I hadn't done this already, but you're now one of my favorite photographers.
