Something about the composition feels awkward. I feel like I need to tilt my head sideways to get the correct perspective. The expression on her face is a bit spacey - zombie looking. Not sure if that was the impact you were trying to make or not... The lighting is good overall (prehaps a bit too much shadow on her face), and the image is well focused and sharp.

| I'm not getting much magic or mystery here. It's an interesting portrait of a girl whose face is painted, though. I like the composition and the lighting, and that's a pretty intense gaze! Outside of this challenge, I'd vote this higher. 4. |

| Not sure what it is, maybe the lighting, but this looks more like a girl with paint on her face than something magical or mysterious. |

| I love the perspective, but the facial expression is a little to blank for me. This may have been purposeful, but I don't find it as appealing as it could have been. Still a good shot. |

| I would have kept it rotated the other way. Looks bizarre this way. An interesting shot, but really sorta shoehorned or contrived. 4 |

| this is a really creative and interesting study...perhaps a little too much noise reduction...I would have dodged out a bit of shadow off the right side of her face...but a lovely shot overall |
